SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - In a tightly contested match, the Builders finished with another draw, 0-0, this time on the road against Evangel University.

Southwestern's goalkeeper,
Hayden Clark  was outstanding, recording 12 saves, including several crucial stops in the second half as Evangel applied pressure with 12 shots on target. Clark's defensive heroics earned her a well-deserved shutout.

Offensively,
Teagan Smith led Southwestern's charge with four shots on goal out of nine total attempts, but the Evangel defense, anchored by goalkeeper Rylee Clapp, held firm.

The game featured numerous set pieces, with Southwestern earning five corner kicks, while Evangel managed seven. Despite several promising opportunities from both sides, neither team could capitalize.

With the draw, Southwestern's record moved to 4-5-4 overall, with a 4-2-4 mark in conference play. Evangel now sits at 6-6-2, 5-4-1 in the league.
The Builders will be on the road at York University, Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.
