Game 1 – 1:00 PM

In a thrilling softball matchup between Bethel College and Southwestern College, the Builders had to take defeat against a strong Threshers offense.

Bethel College wasted no time asserting their dominance, as they exploded for multiple runs in the early innings. In the 1st inning, M. Harrison's double to left field drove in two runs, giving Bethel an early 2-0 lead. A. Oylear followed up with a single up the middle, adding another run to Bethel's tally.

The offensive onslaught continued in the 2nd and 4th innings, with M. Mendiola, K. Meiries, E. Caudill, and A. Oylear all contributing with timely hits to extend Bethel's lead to 9-0.

Despite Bethel's formidable lead, Southwestern College fought back in the 5th inning, as N. Celestino's single through the right side brought L. Aguilar home, putting Southwestern on the scoreboard.

However, Bethel's stellar defense, coupled with their commanding lead, proved too much for Southwestern to overcome. Bethel's flawless performance in the field, coupled with their potent offense, resulted in a resounding 9-1 victory.
