WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern College will look to bounce back in its second nonconference contest of the season when the Moundbuilders host Southwestern Christian University at 5 p.m. Monday September 1st at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
The Builders (0-1) opened the year with a 3-1 home loss to Oklahoma Panhandle State on Aug. 26.

Hayden Clark tallied seven saves in the loss while facing 14 shots.
Southwestern Christian (1-0-1) enters the game unbeaten after a 7-2 win over Southwest and a 2-2 draw with Evangel (Mo.). The Eagles are averaging 4.5 goals per game and have been efficient offensively, scoring nine goals on 28 shots.
Forward Abbigail Johnson has been the focal point of SCU's attack, leading the team with four goals and two penalty-kick conversions through two games. Riley Stanfill has added two goals, while Shosona Graham and Sofia Jimenez have each chipped in one. Goalkeeper Lorelai Puglisi has started both matches, allowing four goals with a .556 save percentage.
With
Millie Hazzard sidelined by injury, Southwestern will look to veterans such as

Hayden Clark's play will be critical as the Builders try to contain an Eagles offense that has outshot opponents 28-13 through two games.
Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Jantz Stadium, where Southwestern aims to even its record while SCU looks to continue its unbeaten start.
