WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern College will remain at home Saturday when the Moundbuilders face the Warrios in a conference women's soccer matchup at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
Southwestern (1-3-2, 1-0-2) is unbeaten in its last three conference games, including a 1-1 draw with Saint Mary on Wednesday. Junior forward Millie Hazzard leads the Builders with two goals, while Natalie Belanger and Kaitlyn Walker have also scored. Goalkeeper Hayden Clark has been the defensive anchor with 55 saves and an .887 save percentage.
Sterling (2-6, 0-3 ) enters looking for its first league win. The Warriors are led by forward Jessica Gautreau, who has scored six of the team's seven goals. Keeper Bella Duckworth has made 49 saves but faces heavy pressure behind a defense that has allowed 39 goals in eight matches.
Southwestern leads the all-time series 11-10-1 and has won the last seven meetings, including a 2-1 home win in 2024.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. Saturday in Winfield.
