WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern College women's soccer heads on the road Tuesday, Oct. 1, to face nationally ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan University in a key Conference matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Bartlesville, Okla.

The Moundbuilders (2-3-2, 2-0-2) enter the contest riding a four-match unbeaten streak in conference play. Southwestern has earned back-to-back conference wins over York (1-0) and Sterling (5-0) while tying Friends and Saint Mary. The Builders have outscored opponents 9-7 this season, with seven different players contributing goals.

Junior forward Millie Hazzard leads the attack with two goals and two assists, while Kaitlyn Walker has added two goals and one assist. Freshman Shaylona Rollings owns the team's lone game-winner. Defensively, goalkeeper Hayden Clark has been outstanding, posting a 1.00 goals-against average with 58 saves and an .892 save percentage through seven matches.

Southwestern faces a major test in Oklahoma Wesleyan (7-1-1, 4-0), one of the conference's top programs. The Eagles have been dominant offensively, averaging 4.33 goals per game while conceding only three goals all season. Laura Gieseler leads OKWU with 12 goals.

The Moundbuilders will look to build on their recent momentum and challenge an opponent that has historically controlled the series. Oklahoma Wesleyan has won the last 16 meetings between the programs, including a 5-0 result in the KCAC postseason last November.

Tuesday's matchup marks Southwestern's fifth KCAC contest of the season as the team continues its unbeaten start in conference play.
