McPHERSON, Kan. — Southwestern College women's soccer returns to the road Wednesday, Sept. 2, as the Moundbuilders take on Central Christian College in a nonconference matchup.
Southwestern enters Wednesday looking to break into the win column after opening the 2026 season with a pair of losses. The Moundbuilders fell 4-1 to Southwestern Christian in their season opener before dropping a 3-1 decision to Northwestern College (Iowa) in their home opener Thursday.
Despite the 0-2 start, Southwestern has found the back of the net in both matches and will look to continue creating opportunities as the Moundbuilders move through the early portion of their nonconference schedule.
Central Christian also enters the matchup searching for its first victory of the season. The Tigers opened their campaign with a 3-1 loss to Bethel College before falling 5-0 to Paul Quinn College.
Kickoff between the Moundbuilders and Tigers is scheduled for Wednesday at 5 p.m in McPherson, Kan.
