WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern College women's soccer continues KCAC play Saturday, Sept. 26, as the Moundbuilders travel to Sterling, Kan., to take on Sterling College. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Sterling College Soccer Field.

Southwestern enters Saturday with a 3-5 overall record and a 2-1 mark in KCAC play. The Moundbuilders have won back-to-back matches after earning 1-0 road victories over York University and the University of Saint Mary.

The two wins have continued a strong stretch defensively for Southwestern. The Moundbuilders held York scoreless before following it up with another shutout Wednesday against Saint Mary. Southwestern has now allowed just one goal through its first three conference matches.

Sterling enters the matchup 3-5 overall and 1-2 in KCAC play. The Warriors opened conference play with a 2-0 win over Bethany before dropping their next two matches against Oklahoma Wesleyan and McPherson. Sterling is coming off a 5-0 loss at McPherson on Wednesday.

Southwestern will look to carry its momentum into its third straight road match as the Moundbuilders continue through the early portion of the KCAC schedule.
