Austin Jackson

Austin Jackson is in his second year as an assistant coach of the Mounbuilder football program. He was a part of 2021 team's historic run, making it all the way to the first round of the NAIA Football Championships Series. He remains in charge of coordinating Special Teams and teaching the Linebacking group in 2022.

Jackson is a 2017 graduate of Baker University with a degree in Sports Administration. While at Baker, he helped the team to a Heart of America Athletic Conference title and an appearance in the NAIA National Championship Game, both in 2016.

Jackson came to Baker from NCAA Division II Henderson State University where he also helped his squad claim a league crown in 2015. His collegiate career began with two seasons at Highland CC.

He has previous coaching experience at JC Harmon HS in Kansas as the linebackers and running backs coach. As a prep athlete at Leavenworth HS (Kan.), Jackson was an All-State performer as well as the County Player of the Year.

Jackson was recently a Graduate assistant at William Penn, where he spent a year coaching the Defensive Backs, and then another year coaching the Defensive Line.
