Ben Klinger

Ben Klinger joined the Southwestern College football coaching staff prior to the 2015 season. Klinger spent the previous four seasons working for the University of Minnesota football team, serving as a student offensive assistant in 2013 and 2014 for the Gophers under 2014 Big Ten Coach of the Year and Southwestern alum Jerry Kill. Klinger worked with the Wide Receivers and Quarterbacks Coaches during his time at Minnesota and also worked on opponent film break down and offensive scouting reports for the Gopher staff. In 2014, Minnesota finished 2nd in the Big Ten West Division and earned a berth in the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.

In 2015, Klinger coached Landers Riddle, an All-KCAC 2nd team Wide Receiver.

A native of Brainerd, Minn., Klinger graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Science.

Klinger is currently working on his MBA at Southwestern College.
