Southwestern College

Beginning his fourth season on the coaching staff at Southwestern, Brandon Steed is in charge of coaching the team's Running Backs in 2021.

Steed is from San Diego, California and went to Valhalla High School in El Cajon. He attended Grossmont Community College and played football there before transferring to Bethel College, Kansas on a scholarship to play Quarterback. Steed graduated from Bethel with a degree in Health and Physical Education and went on to play arena football with the Omaha Beef, Salina Liberty and Wichita Force. He also coached football at Newton High School, Kansas where he was the quarterback's coach and JV offensive coordinator. He led the quarterbacks at Southwestern in 2018 before moving over to wide receivers in 2019.
