Southwestern College

Tori Tucker joined the Lady Builder Basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2016-17 season. She comes to Southwestern after a one-year stint as assistant coach at Connors State College in Warner, Okla.

A native of Portales, N.M., Tucker played the final two years of her collegiate career at NCAA Div. II Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, N.M., where averaged 12.9 points and six rebounds per game, while shooting 41.1 percent from the floor and 37.3 percent from three-point range. She also converted 90.1 percent of her free throws. Tucker was a two-time Offensive Player of the Week in the Lone Star Conference, and helped guide the Zias to a berth in the Lone Star Conference Championship tournament.

Prior to returning home to Portales, Tucker played two seasons at Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas.

Tucker graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Health & Physical Education in 2015. She lives in Winfield.
