Harry Simpson

Harry Simpson is entering his third season as head coach of the Southwestern College women’s soccer program.

Simpson was named head coach in 2023 after serving two seasons as the team’s graduate assistant from 2021 to 2023. In that role, he played a key part in player development, training and recruiting, helping to establish a competitive and supportive team culture.

Before beginning his collegiate career, Simpson represented Derbyshire Football Club at the U18 level, gaining valuable experience in high-level youth football in England.

A native of Derby, England, Simpson went on to play collegiate soccer at the University of Wisconsin–Superior, where he was a mainstay at outside back. He appeared in every first-team match for which he was available, helping the Yellowjackets to three consecutive runner-up finishes in conference play. In 2017, he helped the team win the conference tournament and earn a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship. He also competed briefly for the men’s tennis team at Wisconsin–Superior.

Passionate about advancing the women’s game, Simpson is committed to fostering both athletic and academic success for his student-athletes. His coaching philosophy emphasizes accountability, trust and passion—on and off the field.
