The 2025–2026 season marks Marvin Ruffin’s first year as a coach with the Southwestern College men’s basketball program. A native of Wichita, Kansas, Ruffin joins the staff with a strong foundation in player development and leadership, built through his collegiate playing experience and academic background.
Ruffin is a 2025 graduate of Tabor College, where he earned a Bachelor degree in Human Health Performance. During his time at Tabor, he was a three-year member of the men’s basketball team (2021–2023, 2024–2025).
Dedicated to fostering growth on and off the court, Ruffin emphasizes discipline, consistency, and character development in his coaching approach. He is passionate about helping student-athletes reach their full potential while contributing to the continued success of the Southwestern men’s basketball program.
