Stephen McNett enters his first season with the Moundbuilders. McNett will be in charge of the pitchers while also serving in other capacities for the team. He will lead in recruitment of junior college players.
From 2018-2024, McNett was the head coach at Central Christian College of Kansas. He is second all-time in wins while setting several top ten records in offense (team HR, individual HR, Team doubles, individual doubles, individual triples, team average, team OPS, team stolen base) and on the mound (individual saves, team strikeouts, and individual strikeouts). In his tenure, he had two SAC Gold Glove winners, 1st Team All-Conference, and three 2nd Team All-Conference winners, while also having two players sign to professional baseball.
McNett has also served as a coach for Coffeyville Community College, Nelson University, and Pratt Community College. While at Coffeyville, McNett’s staff broke records for strikeouts and batting average against. At Nelson his staff broke strikeouts and saves records.
