FREEMONT HILLS, Mo – Southwestern's men's and women's golf teams both finished fourth at the Evangel Fall Invitational, at Fremont Hills Country Club, October 15-17, 2023.
On the men's side,
Aaron Delgado led the Builders and shot a +16, 229 to finish top 5 overall. Delgado seemed to get more comfortable with the course each day, improving each round to secure the top five finish, he shot 78, 76, and 75 for the three rounds.
Both teams were consistent throughout and secured 4th place in their respective flights.
Men's Flight - Southwestern Men (4th Place) +116
The Builder men's team maintained a strong presence throughout the tournament and claimed a solid fourth place finish. As a team they shot a first round +42, and finished +37 for both the second and third rounds to lock up fourth place.

Women's Flight - Southwestern Women (4th Place)
The Southwestern College women's golf team also secured a 4th place finish in the Women's Flight. Ashlee Johson led the lady Builders with an overall 256 to finish top seven. Johnson was also able to find her momentum on the course, improving each round, shooting a 91, 81, and 84.
