In a highly anticipated showdown set for Saturday, September 2nd at 11:30 AM, (11) Southwestern College clashes with, (18) Avila University. Both teams come into this matchup with impressive victories last week, setting the stage for a great week two matchup.

Southwestern College secured a hard-fought victory last week, narrowly defeating Ottawa, 24-22.

Meanwhile, Avila University showcased an impressive offensive display in their last outing, defeating Bethany College with a commanding score of 46-23. Their explosive offense and solid defense make for a tremendous week two game with national implications.

Who to watch:
Avila quarterback, Eli Williams, reigning KCAC Offensive Player of the Year threw for 300 yards of offense and six touchdowns last week against Bethany.
Wide receiver, Robert Brooks III, scored a touchdown from a punt return and added 117 receiving yards on seven catches.
The Eagles defense forced four takeaways and had 129 return yards for the game.
