WINFIELD, Kan. — The Southwestern College women's soccer team faced off against Oklahoma City University on August 30, 2023, in a match that ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.
Both teams battled in the first half, but the match remained scoreless. It wasn't until the 58th minute when Southwestern's
Bryanna Kuhn found the back of the net, with an assist from
Daniela Barrantes.
Oklahoma City University responded in the 75th minute when Abby Russell scored, leveling the match at 1-1.
Despite Southwestern's nine shots, ultimately the game concluded in a tie.
