WINFIELD, Kan. – Tuesday, September 13, 2023, (3-0-1) Oklahoma Wesleyan University defeated (1-4-1) Southwestern College 2-0 at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
Oklahoma Wesleyan struck first at the 14:35 mark in the first half on a goal from Tania Mocholi.
Despite SC's resilience, they found it challenging to break through the Wesleyan defense with only one shot on goal for the match, from Daniela Barantes Perez. Builder goalkeeper,
Mallorie Lund, held her own, defending against 11 Wesleyan shots on goal saving nine.
Mocholi would strike again at the 80:45 mark, securing the match for OWU.
