WINFIELD, Kans - The No. 9 ranked Southwestern College Moundbuilders extended their undefeated record to 5-0 with a commanding victory over Sterling College at Richard L. Jantz Stadium. The Moundbuilders' high-powered offense and stifling defense proved to be too much for Sterling, 48-10.

Braden Howell showcased his passing prowess, connecting for three touchdowns. Howell completed 23 of 37 passes for 233 yards with three touchdowns. His longest completion stretched for 44 yards.
Southwestern's rushing attack was equally impressive.
Blake Stafford led the way with 67 yards on just four carries, including a remarkable 62-yard sprint into the end zone.
Jaydon Sundgren and
Jarious Burnett added to the ground game, contributing a combined 84 rushing yards.
The Moundbuilders' receiving corps was effective, with

Caden Bouy had four tackles, disrupting Sterling's offensive rhythm. Deshaun Flowers recorded a sack and forced a fumble, while
Josh Carter added another sack and two pass breakups.
