SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- In a critical conference showdown, the Southwestern College Moundbuilders (6-3-1) secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the Evangel Valor (4-5-1).
Neither team was able to break the deadlock in the first half, which ended 0-0.
It wasn't until the final moments of the match that the breakthrough came. The Builder's
Marcos Benavidez emerged as the hero, scoring the decisive goal at 89:39, sealing the victory for Southwestern.

Andre Luiten made significant contributions to the win, maintaining a clean sheet by stopping four shots and playing the full 90 minutes. His efforts were crucial in keeping the Valor at bay.
