WINFIELD, Kan. — The No. 9 ranked Southwestern College cruised to a commanding 97-64 victory over the Friends University Falcons, at home inside historic Stewart Field House.
Andrew O'Brien asserted himself in the first half, scorching the falcons for 20 first half points. The Builders shot at an impressive 47.4 percent from the field for the game. Connecting on 19 of 40 attempts, including 8-of-20 from beyond the arc.
Southwestern's steady defense limiting the Falcons to just 31.25 percent shooting, out rebounded Friends 53-25, and forced 20 turnovers.
O'Brien finished with 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists.
Justin DeMaria contributing 20 points.
 Cevin Clark added 13 points.
 Mason Thiessen secured a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Zach Hidalgo also made his presence felt with eight points and 10 rebounds.
The Builders will be on the road to Salina for a match up with Kansas Weselyan University on Saturday, Feb. 17, tip off at 7 pm.
