Faith Campbell pitched a gem, leading Southwestern to a dramatic come from behind, 3-2 victory over Graceland University in game two of their four-game homestand.

In game one, Graceland's offense exploded and dominated, for a 9-0 win. The Builders struggled to get their offense going against Graceland's Sammi Bradshaw, who threw a complete-game shutout.

However, in game two Southwestern rallied late, scoring all three of their runs in the sixth inning.
Shaili Showalter sparked the comeback with a run, followed by
Reagan Wright and
Sophia Walters crossing the plate to secure the win.
Graceland's offense was stifled by Campbell's pitching, managing only two runs despite collecting ten hits.
This game marked a historic first for Southwestern's Head Coach,
Sarah McAninch, securing her first career win, 3-2.
"I am so blessed to have a team that shows as much grit and determination as these girls," Said McAninch. "They constantly fight back through adversity and are geared up to prove people wrong. I want to thank the team for trusting me to get them there and I'm grateful for all the support."

Monday, Feb. 19 Game 1 vs. Graceland  | Graceland 17, Southwestern 3
In a doubleheader matchup on Monday, Graceland set the tone early, unleashing a barrage of hits to secure a 17-3 win.
Their offense exploded in the third and fourth innings. Despite a late offensive surge from Southwestern, led by
Hannah Hlavenka's double and an RBI, but it just wasn't enough.

The fouth and final game, Graceland emerging once again with a 7-3 final.
Wright and Hlavenka both drove in runs, to get SC on the scoreboard, but the Builders couldn't overcome Graceland's lead.
Southwestern is back in action again, Tuesday, February 20, at home against MACU, first pitch is at 1pm.
