LINDSBORG, Kan. — In a thrilling three-game series that culminated in a decisive Moudnbuilder victory, Southwestern College defeated Bethany College, claiming two out of three games in the final regular-season series.

Game 1 at Bethany | Southwestern 1 Bethany 12

The first game saw Bethany College dominating with a commanding 12-1 victory over the Builders. Bethany's offense exploded early, with an Emanuel Alicea's three-run homer in the first inning setting the tone. Despite a late run by Southwestern in the sixth inning from a Tyler Seboldt RBI double, the Builders still fell in game one.

Game 2 at Bethany | Southwestern 10 Bethany 3

Southwestern bounced back emphatically in the second game, securing a convincing 10-3 victory over Bethany. Southwestern took an early lead in the first inning and never looked back. Will Johannsen's two-run homer set the tone, while Dante Bravo's timely hits extended Southwestern's lead. London Penland's home run and solid defensive anchored Southwestern and Carlos Camacho's offensive contributions and defensive prowess were instrumental in securing the win. Pitcher Taylor Petty delivered a stellar performance, allowing only four hits over seven innings.

In the series finale, Southwestern clinched a 9-3 victory to seal the series win. After a back-and-forth start, Southwestern exploded for eight runs in the fifth and sixth innings, effectively putting the game out of reach for Bethany. Penland, Seboldt, and Camacho led the offensive charge, while pitcher Gannon Dow delivered a strong performance on the mound.
