WINFIELD, Kan. - The Southwestern College softball program is proud to announce that catcher Taylor Powers has been selected to the All-KCAC Third Team.

Powers' exceptional performances include hitting two triples against Kansas Christian College and smashing a home run while driving in four runs against York College. Defensively, her precision and reliability behind the plate have been a cornerstone of Southwestern College's defense.

Powers' skill and leadership have been instrumental to the Southwestern softball team this season. Her selection to the All-KCAC Third Team is a well-deserved honor.

Throughout the 2024 season, Powers consistently demonstrated her blossoming development on the field, leaving an indelible mark within the program.

Powers started in 30 of 32 games this season. She averaged .304 at the plate, collecting 24 hits with a .468 slugging percentage and .337 on-base percentage.

Behind the plate, Powers had 45 putouts and 13 assists with only 3 errors on the season. She anchored the defense with .951 fielding percentage.
