BALDWIN, Kan. — Builder volleyball fell 3-0 on the road to Baker University, 23-25, 21-25, and 15-25.
Haley Shaw led the Builders' attack with seven kills, while
Gabi Theut and
Adeline McIntire contributed six kills each. Setter
Natalie Blaufuss dished out 13 assists, and
Hannah Weber added four service aces.
Defensively,
Avery Riedel was a standout with 26 digs, while
Baylee York led the team at the net with three blocks. Despite their efforts, Southwestern (3-3) struggled to gain momentum and consistency.
The Builders will look to bounce back on the road in Oklahoma at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 pm.
