WINFIELD, Kan - The Bethel Lady Threshers continued their impressive season with a dominant 83-65 road win over the Southwestern Moundbuilders.
Led by Natalie Richards' 23-point performance, Bethel controlled the game from the opening tip and never trailed. Madyson McKinzie dominated the paint, finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds. Kendall Locke also contributed with 18 points and seven rebounds, making key plays in transition and on the perimeter.Â
Despite a strong double-double effort from Christy Wiebe, who posted 15 points and 15 rebounds, the Moundbuilders struggled with efficiency. They shot just 40% from the field and committed 18 turnovers, which Bethel capitalized on with 17 points off turnovers. Kennedy Ford provided a spark off the bench for Southwestern, leading the team with 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting. However, the Moundbuilders couldn't keep up with Bethel's balanced attack and high-percentage shooting.
The Lady Builders will make the trip to Nebraska this Saturday as they tip off against York at 1:00 PM.Â
