WINFIELD, Kan.  — Southwestern College (3-19, 3-16 ) is set to take on Friends University (17-9, 15-5) in a KCAC matchup at Stewart Field House. The game will also serve as Senior Night, as the Moundbuilders honor Christy Wiebe and Callie Scott for their contributions to the program.

Southwestern enters the contest averaging 62.7 points per game, shooting 32.8% from the field and 31.1% from three-point range. The Builders have relied on senior guard Christy Wiebe, who leads the team with 290 points (14.5 per game) while shooting 37.5% from three and 83.7% from the free-throw line. Wiebe has also been a force on the glass, ranking third in the KCAC with 9.2 rebounds per game. Junior guard Macey Pond has been another key contributor, averaging 11.2 points per game with a 36.1% mark from beyond the arc.

Despite their struggles this season, the Moundbuilders have shown flashes of strong rebounding efforts, pulling down 38.2 rebounds per game. Wiebe leads the charge, while freshman forward Jerranay Echols has added 7.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest.

Defensively, Southwestern allows 77.5 points per game and forces 17.0 turnovers per contest. They will need to step up against a Friends squad that ranks among the KCAC's top teams.

Friends enters the game averaging 70.8 points per contest, led by senior guard Lauryn McIver, who puts up 16.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. The Falcons also have a dominant inside presence in Taylor Jackson, who averages 14.2 points and a conference-best 12.5 rebounds per game. As a team, Friends shoots 42.7% from the field and controls the boards with a +6.7 rebounding margin.

Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Field House, with Senior Night festivities taking place during the mens halftime.
