Southwestern College Builders Flag Football Set for First Conference Matchup Against Campbellsville University Tigers
WINFIELD, KS — The Southwestern College Builders flag football team will face the Campbellsville University Tigers (3-1, 0-0) this Friday evening in a highly anticipated conference matchup. This will mark the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
The Builders (2-2, 2-2) have been strong offensively, averaging 812 passing yards per game, led by quarterback Kennedi Hayes who has accumulated 732 passing yards and eight touchdowns. Olivia Manfre has been a key receiving target for Southwestern, with 341 yards and four touchdowns. Along with Mary Jones who has 177 yards and 3 touchdowns.
On the ground, the Builders have struggled to break through, rushing for only 156 yards in their first four games, with Kennedi Hayes leading the way with 130 rushing yards. Defensively, Southwestern has shown resilience, led by senior Teagan Smith, who has registered 18 total tackles and two sack.
The game will be played in Fulton, MO, with kickoff set for 5:30 p.m.

The Builders, coming off a 13-6 win against Cottey College, will look to extend their momentum as they aim to improve their record.
The Owls, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after a 44-13 win over Graceland University, which ended a three-game losing streak. William Woods has struggled on offense, averaging just 148.3 yards per game, but quarterback Makenzie Hicks has been solid, with 569 passing yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Addie Chilek, with 420 all-purpose yards, is a standout for the Owls, while their defense will look to limit Southwestern's high-powered passing attack.
