Southwestern College Track Shines at Dean Pryor Invitational
COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — The
Southwestern College men's indoor track team turned in an impressive showing at the
Dean Pryor Invitational, posting multiple
personal-best performances and building momentum as their season progresses.
Jack Titgemeyer and
Logan Churchill stood out in the sprints and jumps, with
Titgemeyer clocking 22.71 in the 200m and
Churchill finishing in 23.01. Churchill also claimed
victory in the high jump, clearing
1.87m.
In the
400m,
Marshal Self (51.51) and Titgemeyer (54.43) recorded strong outdoor times, while
Ricky Young (800m - 2:03.48) continued to make strides in middle-distance competition.
The
field events saw
Emerson Williams (Shot Put - 12.81m) and Anthony Mendoza (Shot Put - 11.95m) achieve lifetime bests, while
Dalton Morrison (Javelin - 51.47m) delivered a standout performance.
The Moundbuilders showcased their depth and determination, using the meet as a stepping stone toward continued
growth and success throughout the season.
