WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern College men's basketball has added Kansas native
Marvin Ruffin to its coaching staff, the program announced Tuesday.
The Southwestern College Men's Basketball Program is proud to announce the hiring of
Marvin Ruffin as the newest addition to our coaching staff.
A Wichita native and graduate of North High School, Ruffin brings a strong Kansas basketball pedigree and a deep understanding of the local talent scene. He's no stranger to the
KCAC, having competed at a high level for four years as a standout guard for the
Tabor College Bluejays from 2021 to 2025.
Ruffin's ability to connect with student-athletes, combined with his competitive drive and passion for the game, will help push the program forward as we continue building a championship culture here at Southwestern. His experience as a former KCAC athlete gives him valuable insight into the competition and the mindset it takes to succeed at this level.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Ruffin to the Moundbuilder family!
