Wyatt Bell leads Southwestern with 18.4 points per game and is shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from 3-point range. Evan Barber is averaging 15.1 points per game, leads the team with 73 assists and is shooting 45.5 percent from beyond the arc. Nigel John is averaging 13.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 67.4 percent from the field. Southwestern is averaging 37.7 rebounds per game and has outscored opponents by more than 13 points per game this season.
Evangel is coming off a 75-57 road win at York University (Neb.) and has won three straight games. Garrett Davault leads the Valor with 15.9 points per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the field. Jacob Lafferty is averaging 15.0 points and a team-high 6.5 rebounds per game, and Drew McMillin adds 10.7 points per game and leads the team with 43 made 3-pointers. Evangel is averaging 80.2 points per game and is shooting 46.2 percent from the field.
The teams last met Jan. 7 in Winfield, Kansas, when Southwestern earned an 87-74 victory. Southwestern enters the game fourth in the KCAC standings, while Evangel sits sixth.
