Coach Harris led the launch of the Moundbuilders' flag football program in its inaugural 2024 campaign, finishing 6-8 overall, followed by a 7-10 mark in 2025. The 2026 team is currently 6-3 as the program continues to show growth and competitiveness.

"We are grateful to Coach Harris for getting our flag football program off the ground and establishing a foundation for success," said Athletic Director Matt O'Brien. "Starting a new program comes with unique challenges, and we appreciate the leadership and commitment he has provided."

A national search for Southwestern's next head flag football coach is already underway.

"Our focus remains on our student-athletes and continuing to build a strong, sustainable program," O'Brien said. "We will always look for ways to better serve our students and continue improving as we move forward."
