Southwestern College

Micah Gabler is in his second year with the Southwestern College men's basketball program serving as the graduate assistant.

Gabler is from Mishawaka, Indiana, where he served as a Student Assistant for the Men’s Basketball Team at Bethel University. In his tenure, Bethel qualified for the NAIA National Tournament twice, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2021.

Gabler was hands-on in all aspects of the program including scouting, recruiting, and other administrative roles. Gabler led player development sessions, and helped lead the Reserve Program for the Pilots. 

Gabler's responsibilities will include coaching the JV program, preparing scouting reports, recruiting, helping with on-campus events, player development, and academic monitoring. 

Gabler graduated from Bethel University with a bachelor's degree in Sports Studies in 2022. He is continuing to work on his master's degree in Leadership at Southwestern College.
