Matt Henderson brings over 20 years of coaching experience to his role as assistant soccer coach at Southwestern. His coaching career began at the grassroots level before advancing to club and high school teams, where he spent seven years prior to joining Southwestern.

Henderson's coaching philosophy focuses on developing technically sound and tactically intelligent players who excel both on and off the field. He emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and a strong work ethic, instilling these values in every player he mentors. Known for his motivational skills and ability to connect with athletes, Henderson has a proven track record of helping players reach their full potential.

Outside of coaching, Henderson enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their daughters, Kryslyn and Lauren.
