WINFIELD, Kan. — Returning from Christmas break, Kansas Wesleyan (5-7, 3-3) defeated Southwestern College (0-11, 0-7) at Stewart Field House, 81-68.
Macey Pond led the charge for the Lady Builders, with 18 points and six rebounds, followed by
Kennedy Ford with 10 points and six rebounds.
The Builders struggled with the Kansas Wesleyan's well-rounded offensive attack, who never relinquishing their lead.
Southwestern rallied in the second half. However, their late surge fell short with Wesleyan's Daijane Adams scoring 19 to lead all scorers, and Jill Stephens adding 16.

Haven Matthews each added eight points.
