WINFIELD, Kan. — The Moundbuilders faced Bethel College falling 2-0 in a tightly contested conference match at Richard L. Jantz Stadium.
The first half saw both teams exchanging opportunities, with Southwestern showcasing a strong defensive effort. Despite Bethel taking a 1-0 lead at 21st minutes of the first half.
In the second half, Southwestern ramped up the offensive pressure, creating several chances that didn't find the mark. Lucas Pardo of Bethel scored again at 65

Andre Luiten delivered a standout performance for Southwestern, making several crucial saves to keep SC within striking distance. Meanwhile, Bethel's Kazimir Kromwijk in goal, made it difficult for the Moundbuilders to find the back of the net.
