NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Southwestern (1-3, 1-1) struggled to find their rhythm offensively, falling 81-52 to Bethel College (1-6, 1-1) in a Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).
The Lady Builders were led by Jerranay Echols, who contributed 9 points and 7 rebounds. Christy Wiebe added 5 points, including a 5-for-6 showing at the free throw line, while Heather Chiesi chipped in 6 points.

Bethel controlled the glass with a commanding 60-31 advantage in rebounds, which translated into multiple second-chance opportunities.
