WINFIELD, Kan. — The Southwestern College women's tennis team returns to action Friday afternoon as the Lady Builders host Fort Hays State University at the T.H. Vaughan Tennis Complex.
The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. on March 6 in Winfield.
Southwestern enters the matchup looking to rebound following a loss to John Brown University (Ark.) on Feb. 21. The Lady Builders fell 6-1 in doubles play, where the team of Kaitlyn Celmo and Rosennscar Elie was defeated.
In singles competition, Celmo, Elie and Chloe Patterson each dropped their matches by 0-6 scores as John Brown secured the team victory.
The Lady Builders will look to regroup and gain momentum when they take on Fort Hays State on their home courts Friday afternoon. The contest marks Southwestern's second matchup of the season and their first home appearance at the T.H. Vaughan Tennis Complex this spring.
