PARKVILLE, MO. – On Monday, March 25
th, the Southwestern College men's & women's golf squads traveled to the Deuce National in Parkville, Mo., to compete at the Staco Spring Classic. Due to weather conditions, the tournament got cut short and the Builders only played one round.
The Builder women's team secured a commendable 3rd place finish. The team showcased their skill and determination throughout the rounds, culminating in a total score of 352. Leading the charge was
Lauren Kelly, whose performance earned her a notable T9 finish with a round score of 83. Following closely behind was
Ashlee Johnson, who secured a T13 spot with an equally solid round of 84.
Iommi Paulsen contributed to the team's success with a round score of 92, landing her at T21. Jodi Kenner and
Kylee Woffinden also demonstrated their prowess, finishing with scores of 93 and 99, respectively.
On the men's side, Southwestern College claimed the 7th position with a total score of 325.
Charlie Bentley spearheaded the team's efforts with a round of 78, earning him a respectable T15 finish.
Aaron Delgado and
Emmett Murphy both contributed consistently, each posting a round score of 82, placing them at T28.
Jordan Clancy and
Jackson Strohl rounded out the team's performance with scores of 83 and 86, respectively, securing positions at T34 and T41.
