Southwestern Earns Five Honors in KCAC Conference Awards

WINFIELD, Kan. — The Southwestern College men's soccer team closed out a strong 2025 season with a 10-9 overall record and a 7-6 mark in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play, advancing to the quarterfinals of the KCAC Men's Soccer Tournament. The Builders combined a balanced attack with steady defensive play to earn five all-conference selections, highlighted by senior midfielder Jack Bagley-Etheridge's First Team All-KCAC honor.

Bagley-Etheridge produced a record-breaking campaign, finishing with 19 goals and four assists for 42 total points in 19 matches. His performance set new Southwestern single-season records for both goals and total points. Nationally, he ranked sixth in the NAIA in goals scored and 12th in total points, while tying for first in the KCAC in goals and finishing second in total points.

The senior midfielder logged 1,150 minutes and led the team with 68 shots, including 39 on goal for a .574 shots-on-goal percentage. In conference play, beginning with the Sept. 17 match at Friends, Bagley-Etheridge tallied an estimated 13 goals and three assists for 29 points. His performance earned national attention as the NAIA Men's Soccer National Player of the Week, along with KCAC Offensive Player of the Week recognition earlier in the season.

Graduate defender Nicola Antiglio earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors after anchoring Southwestern's defense throughout the year. Antiglio started all 19 matches and logged 1,609 minutes, adding one assist while recording a .667 shots-on-goal percentage. His experience and organization in the back line played a key role in the Builders' five shutouts and 1.68 goals-against average.

Sophomore defender Adrian Gimenez also earned Honorable Mention recognition for his consistent defensive work. Gimenez appeared in 18 matches, totaling 1,404 minutes, and registered 12 shots with three on goal. His reliability and physical presence in the back line helped stabilize Southwestern's defensive shape during KCAC play.

Senior midfielder Connor Inlow provided creativity and scoring balance, finishing with seven goals and six assists for 20 total points over 18 matches. Inlow played 1,491 minutes, taking 31 shots with 14 on goal. He opened the season on a scoring streak, netting a goal in each of the team's first three matches and remaining a steady offensive presence throughout the campaign.

Sophomore forward Marcos Benavidez rounded out the list of honorees with an Honorable Mention All-KCAC selection. Benavidez appeared in 17 matches and played 1,116 minutes, totaling nine goals and two assists for 20 points. He posted a .333 shot percentage and converted both of his penalty kick attempts, serving as one of the team's top attacking options.

Southwestern finished the season with 42 goals scored and five shutouts while allowing only 1.68 goals per match. The Builders' offensive firepower and defensive resilience carried them to a winning record in KCAC play and a trip to the postseason quarterfinals, marking another step forward for the program.
