WINFIELD, Kan. — The Southwestern College women's soccer team was picked to finish 10th in the 2026 KCAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, released by the conference office Friday.

The Builders received 83 total points, placing them just behind Ottawa University, which earned 88 points for ninth. McPherson College was picked eighth with 89 points, while York University followed Southwestern in 11th with 56 points.

Oklahoma Wesleyan claimed the top spot with 169 points and 13 of the 14 first-place votes. Friends University was picked second, followed by Kansas Wesleyan, Tabor and Evangel to round out the top five.

Southwestern will look to outperform its preseason selection as the Builders begin KCAC play Sept. 16 at home against Friends University.
