Southwestern Women's Cross Country Lands Eighth in KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

WICHITA, Kan. – The 2021 Women's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll was released by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference on Tuesday morning. The Moundbuilder women were selected eighth in the conference by the coaches of the KCAC.

Southwestern was awarded a total of 67 points in the poll, and will look to surprise the pollsters in the upcoming season.

Daegiona Wilson headlines the list of returners for the Builder women, as they embark on their 2021 campaign.

The women's team will join the men to start their season at the Wichita State JK Gold Classic on September 4, and hope to show that they belong at the top of the KCAC standings.
