On Saturday, January 20^th, the Southwestern College Track & Field squads made their way to the Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kan., to compete at the NAIA/Juco Invitationals.
 
Team Results:
 
Women's Weight Throw:
Alejandra Handie secured 3rd place with a 14.52-meter throw.
 
Men's Weight Throw:
Trevor Peterson claimed 18th place with a 12.59-meter throw.
 
Men's Pole Vault:
Logan Spradlin finished 13th with a vault of 3.35 meters.
 
200 Meter Dash:
Kiare Worthy took 59th place, finishing the race in 23.44 seconds.
 
Men's 400 Meter Dash:
Tegun Tews secured 29th place with a time of 52.80 seconds.
 
Women's 600 Meter Dash:
Anzhelany Jordan finished 17th in 1:56.48.
Keianna Harvell secured 18th place with a time of 1:57.68.
 
Men's 1 Mile Run:
Jamell Sanchez claimed 52nd place with a time of 5:19.58.
 
The Builder squad will be back in action on February 3^rd/4^th when they compete at the Washburn University
