Southwestern Women's Tennis Falls to Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 1-6

BARTLESVILLE, Okla - In a challenging matchup at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, the Southwestern College women's tennis fell 1-6.

In the doubles matches, Oklahoma Wesleyan's Henderson duo defeated Mariana Ochoa and Alexis Kersten. 

Transitioning to singles play, Ochoa  showcased her skill with a commanding performance, securing the lone victory for the Builders against Wesleyan's  Nancy Henderson. However, Oklahoma Wesleyan's Jewel Henderson, Aleksic, and Hays emerged victorious in their respective matches, securing the overall win.

Southwestern Men Suffers Defeat Against Oklahoma Wesleyan, 0-7

In another challenging matchup, the Moundbuilders men's tennis team faced a tough battle, ultimately falling 0-7.

In the doubles matches, Oklahoma Wesleyan's Martin/Riva and Callahan/Aleksijevic demonstrated exceptional teamwork, securing victories against Southwestern's Magnus Hauska/ David Monroe and Jeremiah Johnson/ Suede Wanamaker, respectively. Additionally, Bellmont Gonzalez/Cosma of Oklahoma Wesleyan claimed another win as their opponents retired.

Transitioning to singles play, Oklahoma Wesleyan's . Eloi Riva defeated Hauska, 6-3, 6-1. Clement Martin secured a victory defeating  Monroe, 6-0, 6-0.  Additionally, Callahan defeated Johnson, 6-0, 7-5. Aleksijevic def. Soleymon Claiborne (SC) 6-0, 6-3.    
And Bellmont Gonzalez defeated Wanamaker 6-2, 6-1.
