Kansas Wesleyan (9-4-2, 7-2-1 ) comes to Winfield riding momentum after a 5-0 win at Bethany on Wednesday. The Coyotes are one of the conference's most dangerous offenses, scoring 32 goals through 15 matches, an average of 2.13 per game, while limiting opponents to just 15 total goals. The Coyotes have controlled the all-time series, holding a 21-2-2 advantage since the first meeting in 2005. Southwestern's last victory came in 2022, a 2-0 decision at the KCAC tournament. The teams met last season in Winfield, where Kansas Wesleyan scored twice in the first half and held on for a 2-0 win.
Saturday's match will serve as the final home appearance for the Moundbuilders before they close the regular season on the road. With postseason seeding implications on the line, Southwestern will look to continue its defensive consistency and build on a three-match unbeaten streak to send its seniors off in front of the home crowd on Homecoming weekend.
