WINFIELD, Kan. – Riding a two-game winning streak, the Southwestern Moundbuilders (5-15, 1-12)  are looking to keep the momentum going as they take on the Sterling College Warriors (7-18, 2-10) in a conference matchup  at the Broadway Sports Complex.

Southwestern's offense has shown promise, led by JJ Cardinal (.365, 4 HR, 13 RBI) and Andrew Brautman (.353, 3 HR, 13 RBI), who also has a team-high .548 on-base percentage. Catcher  Brice Nittler has also been a bright spot at the plate in recent games, hitting .364 with a .533 on-base percentage while. The team has shown power, tallying 15 home runs across 18 games.

The Warriors enter the contest searching for consistency, having lost three straight. They are powered by Andrew Dutro (.433, 3 HR, 30 RBI) and Luis Morales (.395, 19 RBI), while their pitching staff carries a 9.73 ERA, led by Trenton Canaan (2-2, 5.40 ERA) and Aaron Elsasser (4.66 ERA). 

First pitch is set for Tuesday, March 18, 2 p.m. at Broadway Sports Complex in Winfield.
