WICHITA, Kan. – The Southwestern College men's and women's golf teams will be in action at the Crestview Fall Classic beginning Monday in Wichita, Kansas. The event is hosted by Friends University.
The Moundbuilder men's team will compete in its second tournament of the fall season, while the women's squad opens its fall schedule at Crestview Country Club.
For the men, Southwestern will field a lineup of Jordan Clancy, Cameron Surles, Christian Campbell, Britt Blackshear, and Nico Neuteboom. The Builders look to build momentum after their opening event and test themselves against a strong field on the Crestview layout.
On the women's side, three individuals will represent Southwestern. Lillian Goodwin, Jodi Keener, and Lauren Kelly will each tee it up as they begin their fall campaigns.
Play is scheduled for two days, September 15th-16th, on the par-72 course, with scores contributing to both team and individual standings. Southwestern's golf teams will get an early conference test at the Crestview Fall Classic, going up against three KCAC rivals in Kansas Wesleyan, Tabor, and host Friends University. The tournament offers the Moundbuilders a chance to measure themselves against familiar competition early in the fall season.
