BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Southwestern College will look to build momentum in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play when the Moundbuilders travel to face Oklahoma Wesleyan in a midweek matchup, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. in Bartlesville.
Southwestern enters the contest at 12-30 overall and 9-23 in conference play, coming off a win in its most recent outing. The Moundbuilders have been led offensively by a balanced lineup, highlighted by Sam Benz, who is batting .340 with 52 hits, 16 doubles, and 23 RBIs, while also adding 22 stolen bases. Raisean Dorsey has provided another spark at the plate, hitting .397 with 50 hits and 36 RBIs, while Brice Nittler (.319) and Gabe Rodriguez (.343) have added depth in the lineup.
The Moundbuilders have scored 241 runs this season but have struggled to keep pace with opponents offensively, allowing 434 runs.
