WINFIELD, Kan. — Southwestern will close out its home schedule this week with a midweek, non-conference doubleheader against Randall at Broadway Sports Complex, with first pitch of game one set for 1 p.m. Both contests will be seven-inning games.

The twin bill marks the final two home games of the season for Southwestern, which enters the matchup with a 13-31 overall record and an 8-17 mark at home. The Moundbuilders have shown offensive flashes this season, hitting .274 as a team with 375 hits and 263 runs scored.

Southwestern is led offensively by Raisean Dorsey, who is batting .400 with six home runs and 41 RBIs, while Sam Benz has added a .345 average and a team-high 57 hits. Brice Nittler (.331) and Gabe Rodriguez (.343) have also provided consistent production in the lineup.

On the mound, the Moundbuilders have struggled to limit opposing offenses, allowing 452 runs with a team ERA of 9.75. Jaden Hensley has been a bright spot, posting a 4-2 record with a 4.08 ERA across 53 innings.
