GARDEN CITY, Kan.  — Southwestern College will turn its attention to the postseason this week as the Moundbuilders compete in the KCAC Men's Stroke Play Championship at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course.

The three-day event begins Monday with 36 holes, followed by the third round Tuesday and the final round Wednesday on the par-72 layout in Garden City. The conference championship marks the culmination of the regular season and will determine individual standings as well as team positioning heading into match play.

Southwestern enters the tournament looking to build on its spring performances against conference competition. The Moundbuilders will send a six-man roster that includes Jordan Clancy, Cameron Surles, Nico Neuteboom, Mitchell Lehman, Christian Campbell and Britt Blackshear.

Clancy has been a consistent presence near the top of the lineup throughout the season, while Surles and Neuteboom have also provided steady scoring. Lehman and Campbell add depth to the squad, and Blackshear rounds out the group as Southwestern looks to put together four solid rounds on a demanding course.

With conference honors on the line, the Moundbuilders will aim to stay in contention through the opening 36 holes Monday before positioning themselves for a strong finish in the final two rounds.
